Background —
Splicer Films is a film production company that is launching their docuseries called “Unmasked” to tell stories about hope and resilience amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. I lead and developed brand strategy (identity and messaging) for Splicer Films and Unmasked. I also design their promotional marketing material which includes the website, video graphics, email newsletter, film poster, pitch deck, social media graphics/templates.

Splicer Films is a film production company that reached out to me to build their brand and standardize messaging and identity across digital (website, email, and social) and film. We started completely from scratch.
Problem
Splicer Films is a film production start up that didn’t have a brand strategy for their company and their film. The Founder of Splicer Films, Annette King had a vision to share stories of hope and resilience of people who are making groundbreaking changes during the COVID-19 pandemic. They wanted branding for their company and a video style guide for their videos.
Challenge
Designing for a parent company (Splicer Films) and their subsidiary brand required research of other media companies that also had multiple brands. We wanted to unite both brands but also differentiate them across their identity and messaging.
